FRESH KISS

In 1980 we produced a custom package for WLS Chicago called "Outstanding". Two years later it was used by WCAU-FM Philadelphia, where it caught the ear of Gerry DeFrancesco at KIIS-FM Los Angeles. It became KIIS-FM's first jingle package in December 1982, and established the famous three note "Kiss FM" logo melody (comprised of the last 3 notes of "WLS"). In 1984 we created the highly successful "Hot KIIS" series. Then in July 1985 JAM released "Fresh Kiss". It's regarded as our second custom package for KIIS-FM, but actually only half the cuts were created for them. The others are tracks that had been done for WLS in August 1984, and re-sung for KIIS in March 1985.
