Future Flow

FUTURE FLOW

The first JAM package for WYNY New York was produced in 1979. A few years later, under the direction of Pete Salant, the station became an adult-contemporary leader. Early station research showed that many listeners were having trouble remembering the call letters, so in 1981 we created "Double Plus". That innovative package featured the call letters twice in each cut. To build on its success JAM produced "Future Flow" in the fall of 1982. It utilized the latest synth effects of the day to create unique song-to-song sweep jingles while continuing to reinforce the station name and logo.
