HITRADIO

In a departure from what was considered the typical jingle sound, JAM created the "Hitradio" package in July 1983. It was designed for KHTR St. Louis, and was quickly picked up by several of the other CBS-owned stations including WCAU-FM Philadelphia and KKHR Los Angeles. Ed Scarborough, who came to KHTR when it was still called KMOX-FM, was the PD at the time.
