JAM: Skywave

The Package...

"Skywave" was the 4th in a series of innovative jingle packages created by JAM for New York's "Z-100". It combines high-energy vocals with hot effects to carry on the "hot rockin', flame throwin'" style of 80s CHR radio. It was also one of the earliest packages to include what have come to be known as "ramps", so that pre-recorded station voice-overs could fit over the front of a jingle and then end with a sung logo.
